Our client, a Fortune 1000 financial services company is looking for Business Data Analysts (Data Leads)s for 2 year contract roles.  Business Data Analysts are responsible for coordinating with internal stakeholders and partners for platform updates and installation of services for retirement plan clients.  Requires at least 3 years of financial services experience.

This is a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite in client office) so candidates must live in the areas of Charlotte NC or Frisco, TX.  You can come onboard as our W2 or Independent Contractor.

Business Data Analysts partner with external vendors and internal partners to obtain all necessary data for each transition project. They are responsible to ensure all plan data is ultimately complete and accurate to ensure the enterprise’s clients transitions are successful.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
• The Business Data Analyst coordinates platform updates and service installations for retirement plan clients.
• Working under limited supervision, this role manages, executes, and validates configurations that support retirement plan service updates.
• Implement new plans and changes (e.g., fund lineup modifications, fee adjustments, QDIA updates, contract amendments) for institutional retirement plans with precision and attention to quality.
• Ensure adherence to retirement plan transition best practices throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and address issues and risks in a timely manner to protect plan integrity and client relationships.
• Verify that all required steps, tasks, and procedural guidelines are consistently followed and properly documented.
• Conduct thorough quality validations at each stage of the implementation process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build confidence among business partners, clients, and consultants by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and command of the onboarding process.
• Maintain transparent communication by providing timely status updates to business partners and management on all implementations in progress.

Required Skills:
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Financial Services experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Adaptable and willing to learn new concepts quickly

Good to have skills/experience:
• Foundational knowledge on retirement plan administration procedures, legal and regulatory compliance (e.g., ERISA, IRS, DOL rules), contribution processing, recordkeeping, and distributions.
• Knowledge or experience with client transitions (onboarding, changes) and implementations
• Knowledge of OMNI recordkeeping

Educational/Training
• University (Degree) is a plus
• Series 6 or 7 is a plus
