As part of a business model change that affected the entire organization, a major life insurance company decided to transition from a traditional waterfall development environment to agile Scrum methods.

Problem

The company was having trouble finding an experienced agile coach/trainer with technical project management experience who could guide a skeptical business and IT organization in their first Agile project. It had evaluated many certified agile coaches and trainers, but none had the senior-management-level communication skills and the necessary practical experience needed to lead such a large agile transformation.

Solution

In a few days, SynergisticIT provided our client with a certified Agile Trainer/Coach who had many years of large transformation experience, along with the required technical background and the management skills needed to work with senior business and IT managers.

Our key resource successfully filled the role of Agile Consultant, Project Manager, Scrum Master, Mentor and Trainer for 17 Scrum teams.  Working in concert with senior IT and business leadership, we were able to standup the first agile program in the enterprise and the project was delivered on time and on budget.
